I’m beginning to think that economists just make this shit up as they go along, to justify their preconceived notions (just like the rest of us, in fact).
… Holy crap! For a second there, I thought you were linking to the Onion or something… The very notion that an actual economist, much less anyone who has even the loosest grasp on the notion of economies, would say something like that is… mindboggling.
