Crickets should be the symbol of the new media; orit should be the symbol of what is left of the old media. It could be like Carlos Hathcock’s white feather calling card. some cretinous over-educated fatuous contributor of words to dead-tree daily publications could get a cricket in the mail when he or she says something derogatory about the internet and how they just aren’t trained to see as clearly as them.
