Annual Don’t Trust the Internet Day

by wfgodbold

Every year, people and companies cook up elaborate hoaxes for a single day’s amusement, and we are treated to a bunch of fake products that will never see the light of day.  Thinkgeek hocks canned unicorn meat, taunts us with the idea of Marching Band and Big Band editions of Rock Band, and youtube attempts to save money with its proprietary new textp video resolution.

Rep. Hank Johnson (Georgia) even said that we should be careful lest Guam grow too crowded and capsize.

Actually, that last one wasn’t an April fool’s day prank; he actually said it.  He now claims that it was a metaphor; you can believe as much or as little of that as you’d like.
