Scars of Time (CHRONO CROSS ~時の傷跡~)

by wfgodbold

Chrono Cross, the PlayStation sequel to the SNES’s Chrono Trigger, had some of the best music in any game for the system.

Instead of the time-traveling gimmick that was at the heart of Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross focused on dimension hopping; 10 or so years before the game begins, two timelines diverge and continue along separate paths. No one is the wiser until the silent protagonist, Serge, gains the ability to travel back and forth.

What follows is a confusing journey, filled with quirky party characters (around 40 in all), and an eventual showdown against a planet-devouring monster.
