The Far Side of Reminiscence (追憶の彼方)

by wfgodbold

While I had hoped to put this off for a bit longer, wordpress.com’s downtime for most of the afternoon and evening prevented me from working on a new daily OST post (and the fact that Tuesday is WoW raid night had nothing to do with it, I assure you); hence I have have chosen another track from Fate/stay night, Type-moon’s acclaimed epic visual novel.

I suppose 40-50 tracks from as many games without repeating is good enough. If you don’t like it, you’re free to find your own damn video game music!

Anyway, the Far Side of Reminiscence plays (IIRC; I haven’t played through the game in a while) when the protagonist, Shirou Emiya, fondly recalls his childhood with his adopted father (cut short though it was. Kiritsugu Emiya died a few years after adopting him, so when the game begins, Shirou has been living on his own for a year or two).
