And if you didn’t read the first one, get it first, and then read Monster Hunter Vendetta.
It’s everything the first book was, only more so, and done better. Guns, action, monster killing, saving the world, getting the girl, and geek humor; Larry Correia does a great job of working all of his interests together in to a coherent and enjoyable ride.
It might not win the Nobel Prize for Literature (after all, why award something that people actually might enjoy?), but I for one am looking forward to the further adventures of Owen Pitt (even if the next book is about Earl Harbinger instead).
